Originally, Medicom had informed us that their license with 20th Century Fox limited them to distibuting these awesome figures and toys ONLY to  Japanese territories.  Therefore, they can not directly distribute them to other countries.  Fox does not ape-parently like the hassles and complictaions of dealing with multiple market territories.  So us ape-fans are left to buy from smart domestic dealers that make the hop over to Japan for their stock.  As a result, the prices are a bit steep, and supplies are limited until now, that was the only way.  I guess enough ape fans petitioned Fox to extend Medicom's market boundries, so now thanx to DIAMOND COMICS we'll get domestic releases.
